Black Rangiora On White 10cm Bowl
I am interested in the medicinal properties of plants, especially as they have been used by indigenous peoples around the world. In this series I am exploring Maori use of plants endemic to New Zealand. This porcelain bowl features a drawing of a Rangiora. Medicinally it has been used for its antiseptic qualities to cure wounds or small cuts.

Size 10cm diameter x 2.8cm high ˑ each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid.
These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
