Jo Luping studied art at the Otago Fine Art School, then design and film at Wellington’s Victoria University. The studio she established in 1996 is where she creates contemporary pieces that reflect her environment and her mixed New Zealand and Borneo identity. Working in a variety of mediums - from printmaking, glass, jewellery, ceramics, textiles and photography - Jo captures treasured memories with a touch of magic from both the land and the sea. She lives with her wonderful husband Aaron and delightful daughters Bella and Madison.
